Trauma

Traumatic events can happen to us in many ways, whether it be one major incident that suddenly changes your life, or repetitive traumas that gradually erode our confidence, esteem, and who we really are.

To help protect ourselves from further trauma, we understandably often tuck away either physically or psychologically, worried about facing the world in full. In therapy, I can help you find yourself again. I won’t tell you how to think or behave, because that’s not you and therefore isn’t helpful long-term. Rather, we will work together to dig deep to uncover your buried self to bring it alive again, allowing you to live fully with an open heart and mind, authentically engaging with life and those around you.
